Nuts ‘bout thisJam Drop shake!

Has there ever been a more perfect fusion of flavours than Peanut Butter and Raspberry Jam? Turns out, yes: Peanut Butter and Aussie Biscuits Jam Drops!

Serves 2

What you’ll need for the milkshake:

  • 1 x packet (2 biscuits) Aussie Biscuits Jam Drops
  • 2 tbsp of homemade berry jam (ingredients below)
  • 2 cups of vanilla ice-cream
  • 2 tbsp of peanut butter, smooth or crunchy
  • ½ cup of milk of your choice

What you’ll need for the berry jam:

  • 1 cup of frozen raspberries or strawberries
  • 1 tbsp of caster or raw sugar

How to make it:

  • Combine jam ingredients in a saucepan. Simmer for 10 minutes on low heat, stirring occasionally. Once the mixture coats the back of a wooden spoon, turn the heat off. Set aside to cool, letting it thicken slightly
  • For the milkshake, combine the cooled jam and all other ingredients in a blender and blend on high till smooth and creamy
  • Serve and drink immediately

Notes:

  • You can use your favourite store-bought jam for this recipe (we recommend Summerland Farm’s Strawberry Jam!), but homemade helps to add a slight tartness to the milkshake
  • To get extra fancy, swirl 1 tbsp of jam on the inside of the glass and top with whipped cream and a crumbled Jam Drop bikkie
